ZonePlus
Allows you to have up to 4 heating zones across the home.
- Set each zone to it’s own temperature to suit requirements (22°C in the living area, 18°C in the bedrooms).
- Compensates for suns movement throughout the day: Can heat the cooler side of the home, while remaining off in the sunnier northern side.
What is Gas Ducted Central Heating?
Ducted heating comprises of a heating unit or furnace connected to a series of outlets throughout the home. These outlets are connected to the furnace by ducts, and are placed strategically throughout the home, to get the even heating result.
How does Ducted Gas Heating work?
The Brivis Ducted Gas Heating system draws cold air from inside your home through the heater where it is warmed. This warm air is delivered into all rooms of your home via the outlets and duct network, in the form of a steady, gentle supply of warm air.
The Brivis controller monitors the air temperature on a continual basis and controls the Brivis Ducted Gas Heating system to ensure a consistently warm temperature throughout the home. On our higher efficiency models, as the home heats up, the heater modulates the gas so only a small amount of energy is used to keep the space at your desired comfort level.
Once your home reaches your desired temperature the heater unit switches off. The fan then comes to a halt slowly, ensuring that all the remaining heat inside the unit is used.
Why choose central heating over space heating?
This is because heating an individual room:
- creates cold draughts between rooms
- makes it difficult to maintain a consistent temperature
- creates an environment where we feel the cold when moving between heated and non-heated rooms
Is your home suitable?
Ducted heating requires sufficient space to run ducts in the ceiling cavity or under the floor. Generally, if you have a pitched roof, or crawl space under the floor you will be able to install ducted heating.
